Water Community, a Delhi based NGO, received the Water Digest award 2009-2010 for its work on water education through Hindi Water Portal. The hindi water portal is an initiative of Arghyam. Water Community manages the portal since its launch in November 2008. The portal besides featuring articles on water problems, community based water management initiatives hosts a series of data, resources andpolicies to enable users to take informed decisions on water. Another highlight is Ask an expert, a platform to interact with experts on water problems and solutions.
