BACKGROUND
Groundwater contamination, particularly due to fluoride, continues to affect millions of people across India. As awareness of fluorosis grew, there was a need for accessible learning resources that could help practitioners, civil society organisations, and communities understand the issue and its impacts.
SOLUTION
A digital learning course that introduces the fundamentals of fluorosis and makes practical knowledge accessible through the ForWater platform.
OUR APPROACH
Arghyam partnered with INREM Foundation to develop the Fluoride ABC course on the ForWater learning platform. The course provides learners with a basic understanding of fluorosis, including its causes, health impacts, and approaches to mitigation. Developed in response to growing demand for training and awareness, it made foundational knowledge on fluorosis available through a flexible digital learning format.
